Our Philosophy

Children don’t need to be taught to wonder. They need classrooms that don’t unteach it.

The 4E Approach

Memorised facts fade by the next holiday. Curiosity lasts a lifetime. So every Curio lesson moves through four simple steps:

Enquire

It all starts with a question: the bold, brilliant, slightly impossible kind that grown-ups forgot how to ask. We make room for every one of them.

Explore

Curiosity needs somewhere to go. Sensory play, real-world themes and hands-on discovery turn big ideas into things a child can touch, test and try.

Establish

Understanding that outlasts the recess bell. Application-based learning turns fleeting facts into knowledge a child can use and explain, long after the lesson ends.

Express

Through projects, role-play and show-and-tell, children discover the most powerful lesson of all: their ideas are worth hearing.

One Child. Six Ways to Grow.

Children don’t grow in subjects. They grow all at once: talking, counting, climbing, feeling, imagining. So our curriculum is woven across six domains, not stacked into boxes.

  • Language & Literacy — Every word is a key. Vocabulary, phonics and expression that turn language into a tool for thinking, not just repeating.
  • Mathematical & Logical — Numbers before numerals. Children feel what “five” means in patterns, sequences and snack-time sharing long before they write it.
  • Scientific Enquiry — The world is the first textbook. Little scientists notice, question, predict and test, just like the big ones.
  • Personal & Social — The skills no exam can measure. Empathy, calm, kindness and the courage to stand by what’s right.
  • Creative Expression — Every child is born fluent. Art, music and movement are treated as a first language, never an extra.
  • Motor Development — Big moves, tiny grips. From a steady pencil hold to a fearless sprint across the playground, the foundation every other skill stands on.
