Curio Thematic
The world, one theme at a time.
Levels 1, 2 & 3 · 5 integrated theme books · English & Maths Practice Books
Five integrated theme books carry children through the year, one big idea at a time. Language, numbers, shapes, concepts, art, values, festivals, rhymes and stories all live inside the same theme, so learning feels connected rather than chopped into subjects.
- Know the Curio Kid — It all begins with me: my body, my family, my home, my school, my feelings and good habits like greetings and magic words. Children take their first pre-writing strokes and early letters while rhymes, stories and the summer season bring the theme to life.
- Curio in the Garden — Rain, trees, flowers, birds and animals — wild, domestic and their young ones. Children explore heavy and light, hot and cold, new letters and shapes, and celebrate Eid, Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan along the way.
- Curio in the Neighbourhood — The people and places around us: community helpers, family, school and caring for the world we share. Children meet new letters and numbers, compare tall and short or tight and loose, and discover festivals like Teacher’s Day, Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra.
- Curio Explores the World — Journeys by land, air and water, traffic safety, fruits, vegetables and healthy food choices, and the winter season. Children explore fast and slow, thick and thin, before and after, and celebrate Diwali, Children’s Day and Guru Purab.
- Curio Loves the Universe — The elements of nature — air, water, land and earth — the sun, moon, rainbow and solar system. Children consolidate their letters, numbers, patterns and shapes, and celebrate Lohri and Republic Day.
- English Practice Book — Focused practice in letters, sounds, sight words and early writing that reinforces what children meet in the theme books.
- Maths Practice Book — Focused practice in number sense, counting, number writing, patterns and shapes that strengthens every concept from the theme books.
Growth you can see on every page. Every worksheet opens with an “I can…” statement and closes with a four-stage rubric — Waking Seed, Peeping Sprout, Creeping Seedling, Growing Plant — so teachers can track each child’s progress at a glance.
